JC LAB blood typing kit is used to determine the ABO blood type of four unknown blood samples, and helps develop student understanding of the nature and importance of antigen-antibody reactions for testing blood type. The kit contains simulated blood samples for realistic replication of the blood typing procedure and safe classroom use. For hands-on learning, the kit has materials for 10 groups of students, including simulated anti-A and anti-B serum, and 40 blood typing trays. The kit includes a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use, and a material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures. The kit is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision.
