1) Babinski Hammer

-Designed for testing how quickly the muscles and nerves respond to an external stimulus, this Babinski hammer allows the user to elicit the most subtle reflexes with only minimal effort thanks to its unique design. The hammer is tapped at the knee and the knee jerk response is watched.

2) Wartenberg Pinwheel

-The Wartenberg Pinwheel is designed to test nerve reactions (sensitivity) as it is rolled systematically across the skin. It can be used anywhere on the body safely.

3) Queen Square Hammer

-The Queen Square hammer is designed for testing the plantar reflex. The head of the hammer is drawn from the heel of the foot to the toes. The patient's natural response to the examination may be indicative of nerve damage or an underlying condition. It also features a pointed tip at the end of the handle. This is used for sensitivity testing, improving the efficacy of the examination.

4) Buck Hammer  

The Buck Hammer is used for testing deep tendon reflexes and measuring nerve sensitivity, as well as for cutaneous sensation evaluation. With the two different rubber ends, a stimulus can be set precisely and a reflex can be triggered consciously.

5)Taylor Reflex Hammer  

The Taylor Hammer is a popular hammer used to test deep tendons - particularly used on the knee to test reflexes by striking the tendon in a single, brisk stroke and noing the muscle reaction. The pointed end of the handle can be used to elicit cutaneous reflexes, and the triangular rubber head is used for testing joint reflexes and bone fractures.
